A little about my spiritual life, since no one asked. ☺️
Absolutely not a single person has impacted my understanding of my spiritual exploration like Eckhart Tolle in the last few years. Prior to that, the last major work that really rocked my world was “Interior Castle” by Teresa of Avila, considered by many to be the original authority on mysticism within Christianity.
For some context, I have made it my personal aim to evolve toward what I call “self-leadership into integrated spirituality”. I am working to give myself permission to invite, experience, and encounter new facets to my complex, deep connection… letting go of very old and unhelpful ideas that I need someone “more mature than” me to lead me into communion or connection spiritually.

That said, being a lifelong learner, I discovered Eckhart Tolle while doing some research for my women’s leadership retreat on Purpose. His commentary on “being” versus “doing” blew my mind and has served as a window into new understanding of time, fulfillment, gratitude, and many more facets of my connectedness. None of it is particularly new conceptually - most of his perspectives are simply taking old concepts that have been too lofty, too confusing, or too mystic for those of us with a Western brain to digest. Tolle makes things digestible.
So this morning, I threw on a podcast episode, and I thought I’d share it with you. I’d advise you to let him take you from the beginning thoughts to the end — though it starts simple, it dives deep into ideas that need some logic foundations.
Here’s a little excerpt:
“God is the source of all life, in the same way that the sun is the source of all light. “And so, the relationship between your consciousness, which is not your consciousness, it is universal consciousness expressing itself through you, the relationship between that consciousness, that you are, and the source, is the same as the sun and the sunlight. So the consciousness in you is the light of the source, or Godshine. The source itself, you cannot know. It is totally beyond anything that you could possibly even understand or think about. And yet, you are inseparable part of it, in the same way that the ray of sunlight is an inseparable part still of the sun. And yet, the ray of sunlight would be both right and not right in saying, I am the sun.”

So pop over to give his episode a listen if you want to turn inward and get recentered. Some days, the world is a bit too much, and focusing on the core of who you are is the best service you can possibly do for humanity.
Bisous bisous,
